a small bowl combine the cooking base with
butter or margarine. Mix thoroughly. |

Let stand to blend the flavors at least 30 minutes. |

Place the blend in a small,
tightly covered container. Keep refrigerated
after each use. |

Makes enough to season 3 lbs. of vegetables. |
